Claude Skelton
President and Creative Director

He oversees all of the creative output of the studio, contributing his many years of experience to each project. Claude has received numerous awards for his work, including recognition by the New York Art Director’s Club, the Society of Publication Designers, Communication Arts, CASE (who once named him a "Designer of the Decade"), UCDA, Critique Magazine, the Type Director’s Club, Print Magazine, and the Washington Art Directors Club.
Kevin Sprouls
Art Director

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (BFA, Cum Laude), he got his start in Boston, where he created exhibition designs for the National Park System, among other clients, during his time at Main Street Design. Transitioning into print and web work, he freelanced for many of Boston’s top design firms before moving to Barrett Communications in Cambridge where he directed projects from inception through production. In addition to his accomplished print design skills, Kevin’s extensive knowledge of website development and design add invaluable depth to the team, and his adept use of typography carries on the studio’s tradition of emphasis on type design. His work has been recognized by CASE, AIGA and the AAM. He is an active AIGA member with an interest in local student development.
Elizabeth Sprouls
Art Director
.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)Elizabeth, also a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (BFA, Summa Cum Laude) joined Skelton Design in 2007. Prior to that, in Boston, she advanced to senior graphic designer at Christopher Chadbourne and Associates, managing and art directing multiple designers in the creation of nationally recognized museum exhibitions such as the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the National Law Enforcement Museum, now breaking ground in Washington DC. From there, she went to Harvard University as a senior graphic designer in Communications, Alumni Affairs and Development. A quick study, she is particularly adept at assimilating and organizing extensive amounts of material into original, elegantly conceived design.
Gina Skelton
Office Manager and Bookkeeper

As Office Manager and Bookkeeper, she handles the company’s finances with the same commitment and attention to detail that the others bring to its creative success.
